Sister Wives’ Christine Brown Shows Off 40-Lb. Weight Loss Journey Ahead of Tell-All Book
Sister Wives star Christine Brown celebrated her 40-pound weight loss in a series of Instagram posts while talking about “healing,” less than a week after announcing her “gritty” new memoir.
“I’m down 40 pounds and feeling better than ever! What’s better, is that the weight actually has stayed off,” Christine, 52, captioned a Monday, February 10, video. It showed various photos of the TLC star showing off her figure in fitted jeans while posing the question, “When was the last time you felt really good?” written across the screen.
“No more yo-yo dieting, no more feeling drained — just real, lasting results. I finally have hunger control and the energy I was missing, and it feels amazing!” she told fans while encouraging them to join her health journey.
“If you’re ready to take control of your health, join me for my next weight loss challenge! Drop RESET in the comments, and I’ll send you the details,” Christine teased.

The reality star encouraged fans to be part of her latest venture in a follow up video the same day.
“My journey shows that change is possible. If you feel confined by silence, know that every little step brings you closer to a brighter tomorrow. Let’s move forward together,” Christine wrote. It showed her hard at work exercising on a rowing machine as well as working with hand weights.
She was also shown cooking a healthy meal and having a heart-to-heart chat with husband David Woolley as Coldplay’s “Fix You” played over the video.
Christine’s inspiring posts came after she announced her tell-all memoir on February 7.
“I have a book about my life coming soon!!” she excitedly told fans in an Instagram post, sharing how they could preorder a copy of Sister Wife: A Memoir of Faith, Family and Finding Freedom.
“It is gritty and honest as I tell my story living polygamy as a child, to my marriage and family life,” Christine continued, referring to her 28-year marriage to Kody Brown that ended in 2021, the six children they share and her former sister wives Janelle Brown, Meri Brown and Robyn Brown.
The memoir also delves into the “heartache” Christine felt leaving the Apostolic United Brethren, a sect of the Mormon religion that follows polygamy. It ends on a happy note, as she will go into detail about meeting and marrying David, 61.
Christine admitted to working with author Kelly Kennedy to help tell her story, adding, “I did NOT write it myself even though every word is mine” of the book, which is being published by Simon and Schuster. A release date has not been announced.
The Utah native had been steadily losing weight since her split from Kody, 56, but revealed she had lost a whopping 40 pounds in a November 2024 Instagram post.
“Hot flashes gone, tummy issues gone, sleep like a baby, cravings & bloating gone and energy … I have so much energy!” she wrote.
“She lost the weight for herself, not for anybody else, not for her new husband, who loves her any size,” an insider exclusively told In Touch in December 2024. “It’s just that she hated feeling weighed down and a lot of that excess baggage came from her unhappy union with Kody.”
